Use to make Tandoori Chicken, tandoori fish, paneer tikka or butter chicken etc. Traditionally mixed with yogurt, garlic and ginger to create a marinade for chicken, fish or lamb prior to baking. Also excellent as a dry seasoning for meats that are to be pan fried, grilled or roasted.
Preparation & Cooking
Tandoori Masala is used in Tandoori Chicken. In this dish, the chicken is covered with a mixture of plain yogurt and tandoori masala. The chicken is then slow-roasted in the tandoor. Can be also used to prepare tikka and butter chicken.
