Preparation Cooking Instructions
• 1. Basic Directions: Soften the required number of gelatin sheets individually in cold water (about 5 minutes)
• 2. Remove gelatin sheets from water, and drain
• 3. Following either the “hot” or “cold” preparation directions below
• 4. Hot Preparation: Heat the liquid to be set
• 5. Add drained gelatin sheets
• 6. Stir until gelatin sheets are dissolved
• 7. Cold Preparation: In a small saucepan, over low heat, gently stir gelatin sheets until completely dissolved
• 8. Fold into recipe, before gelatin begins to set
• 9. Chill recipe until set (about 2 hours)
• 10. Tip: Fresh kiwi, pineapple, papaya and figs are not suitable for use with gelatin
