Hoffmaster Dinner Napkins: Linen Like Natural 16x16 for Canadian food service

Quick Answer

Hoffmaster Linen Like Natural 16x16 napkins come in 1000-count cases and ship Canada-wide from our Calgary warehouse. They're the disposable napkin most banquet halls, caterers, hotels, and wedding venues default to when they want a linen look without the laundry bill.

Hoffmaster Linen Like Natural napkins come 1000 to a case, sized 16 by 16 inches when open. If you're setting 200 to 500 covers in an afternoon, they give you the linen look and skip the pickup-and-wash cycle that eats staff hours. Most of our Calgary-area clients run them for wedding receptions because the crease-free presentation holds up across a full service.

Hoffmaster Dinner Napkins, Linen Like Natural 16 X 16In | 1000UN/Unit, 1 Unit/Case: Professional grade for Canadian food service

These are a paper-based napkin built to look and drape like cloth, made for high-volume service. The fibre mix is 55% recycled (40% post-consumer, 15% recycled) and 45% virgin, and the product carries EPA approval on the recycled content. You get the wedding-hall table look without renting it or paying a linen service to pick it up at midnight.

Stocked at our Calgary hub. Ships to all 10 provinces and 3 territories in 2 to 5 business days.

Industry Insider Tip: Stack flat packs vertically in dry storage. Saves back-of-house space, keeps them from getting crushed by heavier stock on top, and lets staff grab a sleeve fast during plating. Fewer crushed corners at the bottom of the pile, too.

Operator's Tip · Amani, Bulk & Wholesale Specialist

"Customers notice the crease-free finish right away, especially when they're resetting 30+ tables between seatings. We've had event caterers put in 50+ cases for a single season. That's 50,000 napkins without running out mid-event. Store them dry and room-temp and they stay flat and ready to deploy."

Running a polished room while moving 200+ covers a night is the constant pressure, and linen is usually the leak. These Hoffmaster napkins fix that by cutting out the rental, wash, and iron cycle entirely. The natural colour works across most table palettes, so you don't need separate stock for different events. For the rest of your back-of-house, browse our full kitchen equipment and essentials line at ChickenPieces.com.

Quality & Specifications

These are a linen-like disposable napkin with a soft, crease-free finish. Each one measures 16 by 16 inches when unfolded. The fibre blend is 55% recycled (40% post-consumer, 15% recycled) and 45% virgin, and the product carries EPA approval on the recycled content.

Professional Applications

The natural colour works across most event styles. We sell them mostly for wedding receptions where the linen look matters, formal plated dinners, and upscale casual restaurants stepping up from basic paper. They're a default for banquet hall resets and hotel events because the 1000-count case goes fast once you're seating hundreds.

Storage & Handling

Keep them in the original case, in a dry spot between 0 and 35 degrees Celsius. Direct sunlight and humidity degrade the fibre over time. Check the case for the printed shelf life, but stored right they'll hold up to spec.

Canadian Sourcing

Stocked at our Calgary warehouse and shipped from there to every province and territory. Most ground orders land in 2 to 5 business days. We hold steady inventory year-round, so wedding season and the holiday banquet crunch don't put you on backorder.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to fold dinner napkins fancy?

While these Hoffmaster Linen Like Natural napkins offer an elegant appearance, elaborate folding techniques commonly associated with cloth napkins are generally not necessary or practical for disposable products. The main benefit of these 16x16 napkins is their convenience and ready-to-use, crease-free presentation straight from the pack. Operators typically opt for simpler folds that save on labour and setup time, such as a basic square, rectangle, or a single-point fold to maintain a neat appearance on the table.

How to fold dinner napkins easy?

For Hoffmaster Linen Like Natural 16x16 napkins, the easiest folding method for commercial settings is often a simple one-third or one-quarter fold. These napkins arrive flat, so a quick, uniform fold in half, then again, creates a tidy presentation suitable for most dining experiences. This minimalist approach maintains the linen-like appearance while maximizing operational efficiency, allowing staff to set tables quickly without extensive training or wasted time on complex designs. The focus for these disposable options is on speed and consistent presentation.

How to store Hoffmaster Dinner Napkins Linen Like Natural In for maximum shelf life?

To ensure maximum shelf life for your Hoffmaster Dinner Napkins Linen Like Natural 16x16, store them in their original packaging in a cool, dry place. The recommended temperature range is between 32 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit (0 to 35 degrees Celsius). Avoid areas with high humidity, direct sunlight, or extreme temperature fluctuations, as these can degrade the material over time. Proper storage prevents moisture absorption, which could compromise the napkin's integrity and crease-free appearance when needed for service.

Is Hoffmaster Dinner Napkins Linen Like Natural In compatible with standard commercial machines?

Hoffmaster Dinner Napkins Linen Like Natural 16x16 are designed for single-use table service and are not intended for use with commercial laundry machines or standard dispensing equipment that relies on specific fabric properties. Their primary compatibility is with your table setting and waste management system. While they fit standard flat napkin holders, they are best suited for manual placement by staff, offering flexibility in presentation without requiring specialized equipment. For alternative colours or sizes, consider other Hoffmaster Linen Like options like the white or black versions available on ChickenPieces.com.

How to fold fan dinner napkins?

Folding a 'fan' design is typically a technique reserved for more rigid cloth napkins due to the multiple pleats required to hold its shape. While Hoffmaster Linen Like Natural napkins offer a quality feel, their disposable nature means they may not hold such intricate folds as effectively as traditional fabric. For these 16x16 napkins, focusing on clean, simple folds like a basic rectangle or triangle will deliver a sophisticated look that is also practical and efficient for high-volume service. This approach leverages their ready-to-use, crease-free design.

What materials is Hoffmaster Dinner Napkins Linen Like Natural In made of?

Hoffmaster Dinner Napkins Linen Like Natural 16x16 are constructed from a blend of fibers, with 55% derived from recycled materials. Specifically, this includes 40% postconsumer waste and 15% recycled material, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability. The remaining 45% consists of virgin fibers, which helps to maintain the napkin's durability and premium linen-like appearance. This composition ensures a high-quality, crease-free product that performs well in professional food service environments while being an EPA-approved choice.

How to maintain Hoffmaster Dinner Napkins Linen Like Natural In for long-term use?

As Hoffmaster Dinner Napkins Linen Like Natural 16x16 are a single-use disposable product, maintenance for long-term use refers primarily to their storage before deployment. These napkins are not designed for cleaning or re-use. Protecting them from moisture, pests, and crushing will preserve their aesthetic quality and functional integrity, ensuring a pristine presentation every time.

How to fold cloth dinner napkins?

Folding cloth dinner napkins typically involves specific techniques like intricate pleats, pockets, or sculptural designs to achieve a desired aesthetic for fine dining. These Hoffmaster Linen Like Natural 16x16 napkins, however, are designed as a premium disposable alternative to cloth. While they offer the look and feel of linen, they are intended for efficiency in high-volume settings. You would generally not apply complex cloth napkin folding methods to these; instead, simple, neat folds are preferred to save labour and utilize their ready-to-use, crease-free nature.

What are the specific dimensions and weight specifications for a case of Hoffmaster Linen Like Natural 16x16 dinner napkins?

Each individual Hoffmaster Linen Like Natural napkin measures 16 x 16 inches when unfolded. A single case contains 1000 of these napkins. How long can a case of these Hoffmaster Linen Like Natural 16x16 napkins be expected to last under typical commercial use in a Canadian restaurant?

The duration a case of Hoffmaster Linen Like Natural 16x16 napkins lasts depends entirely on your establishment's volume and napkin usage per customer.
