Authentic Latin Taste: Known as one of Mexico’s iconic salsa picantes, it offers a spicy, citrusy flavor with a balanced medium heat, perfect for tacos, nachos, or botanas like chips, popcorn, and chicharrones. Customers praise its “just-right spice” for snacks like cucumber or eggs.
-
High Yield: Each 4L jug yields 270 x 15ml (1 tbsp) servings (20 calories/serving), making it cost-effective for high-volume kitchens or large households. A single jug supports weeks of use in a busy restaurant.
-
Versatile Uses: Drizzle over grilled meats, seafood, or veggies; use as a marinade for chicken or shrimp; or add to salsas, enchiladas, or ceviche for a spicy twist. Users love it as a “taco stand staple”.
-
Bulk Convenience: The 4L size is ideal for commercial food service, with a resealable jug ensuring easy storage and pouring. Shelf-stable until opened; refrigerate after opening for up to 6 months.
-
Quality Ingredients: Made with guajillo chiles for a mild sweetness, balanced by vinegar and spices. Contains no artificial flavors, but note the sodium benzoate preservative and potential allergens (check label).
-
Serving Size: ~1 tbsp (15ml) per serving, with ~270 servings per 4L jug (4000ml ÷ 15ml). Adjust for taste; some users use 5-10ml for lighter heat.
-
Yield: One 4L jug = 4000ml, supporting ~270 tacos (15ml/taco), ~135 burritos (30ml/burrito), or countless snack dips. For a restaurant serving 50 tacos/day, one jug lasts ~5-6 days.
-
Applications: Use straight from the jug for dipping with chips or veggies, mix into marinades or sauces, or splash on street food like elotes or tamales. Customers suggest diluting with lime juice for a milder dip.
-
Storage: Store unopened at room temperature. Refrigerate after opening; best-by date ~12-18 months from production. Users warn against short expiration dates (e.g., 3 months) when buying bulk, so check dates upon delivery.
-
Safety: Contains acetic acid and sodium benzoate; avoid contact with eyes and wash hands after handling. No allergen info provided, but guajillo chiles are generally safe for most diets.
