Pickling Spice is a blend of whole and broken spices. It has an aromatic and slightly pungent aroma and a characteristic taste. It imparts a wide variety of flavours to the pickling process. Serving Suggestions
Pickling spice is designed for use in pickling but may be used in other food preparation. Used in pot roasts, spiced fruits vegetables,, marinades for meat and fish, sauerbraten, boiled shrimp and game. Club House Pickling Spice complements cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes, cauliflower, beets, onions, peppers, cabbage, peaches, pears, vinegars and chutneys. Also great for marinades, pot roasts, fish, shellfish and potpourris.

Club House Pickling Spice complements - cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes, cauliflower, beets, onions, peppers, cabbage, peaches, pears, vinegars and chutneys. Also great for marinades, pot roasts, fish, shellfish and potpourris. Add 1 to 2 tbsp (15 to 30 mL) Club House Pickling Spice to liquid when simmering a pot roast of 4 lb (2 kg). Add 1 to 2 tsp (5 to 10 mL) Club House Vanilla Extract and 2 cups (500 mL) water. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.

Spices should be stored in a cool, dry, dark place. They should be protected from flavour loss and moisture by making sure containers are tightly closed after every use. Avoid exposure to heat, humidity, moisture and direct sunlight or fluorescent light to retain flavour and colour.Ingredients
