Find your cost per km

Cost per km is the only number that lets you say yes or no to a load in ten seconds. It is fuel and maintenance per km plus the truck payment, insurance and everything fixed, spread over the km you actually run in a month. Broker quoting per mile? The calculator has a Miles switch, and the answer is the same.

The formula

Fuel per km = diesel price per litre × L/100km ÷ 100. Fixed per km = (payment + insurance + other fixed) ÷ km per month. Cost per km = fuel + maintenance + fixed.
